Technical Education is the base of development of any country and before the emerging of private sector in this field it was limited to a very small fraction of students. Ten years ago the situation was such that a student having marks more than 80% would get admission in engineering and other one with 79% marks would not. But now fundamental “Right of Education for all” is being obeyed in true sense, where the number of deserving candidates who would like to pursue career in engineering has tremendously increased.
Keeping in mind the necessities of the society and quality of education like mind people came together to form a non-profit, and social organization “Jind Education Trust” which not only takes interest in education but also in socio-economic development of the region.
Jind Institute of Engineering and Technology is run by the same trust where utmost care of quality education, lodging and boarding, basic facilities and quality food of the students is taken.
It is indeed in our endeavor to groom the students to be professionals rather than the bookish engineers. To accomplish this every care is taken to expose the students to the practical environment of the world of work through industrial visits, problems of the industries as live projects of the students and interaction of the students with industry professionals through seminars and expert lecturers.
I take this opportunity to make an earnest appeal to the industries to consider favorably these young budding engineers for appropriate appointments in engineering and managerial cadre of your organization. I am sure they will prove worthy of the position, you may like to offer them as we are proud to have given them intensive training and had set rigorous standards to combine knowledge with personality and technical acumen in our curriculum.
The brochure is a completion of our efforts to place before the concerns a comprehensive profile of our students and of the institute.
